The city has Purple Flag accredited nightlife, with a large range of restaurants and bars to choose from.  Many of the bars provide night-time music & entertainment 900 onwards. The Theatre Royal has a full calendar of shows from January to December. There is an array of retail shops to choose from with a large selection of independently owned fashion boutiques to shop in.
